Team Race Clean is a committed U23 road program for the emerging talent, part of the NextGenMTE curriculum. This new program allows the identified riders to grow and mature within a supervised environment with world-class support and partners. In 2017, the program will support 12 full time riders.

The idea is simple, but the pathway is far more complex for these young cyclists. The development of a strong team pursuit program relies on the identification of talented athletes between the ages of 18 and 22. These young men commit to a year-round training and international racing program leading up to the ultimate goal: a podium performance at the Olympic Games in Tokyo 2020 for the Men’s Track team!

Along the way, a strong road program is required to support the team pursuit squad. This provides the physiological preparation they’ll need to deliver on the boards. In addition, it also offers these young cyclists the best possible opportunity to develop a long-term professional career through a network of connections with professional agents and Pro-Conti/World Tour teams.

Our goals:

– Top-8 at UCI Track World Championship
– A first professional contract (World Tour or Pro-Continental)

– Top-6 at UCI Track World Championship
– A second professional contract (World Tour or Pro-Continental)

– Medal competitive Team Pursuit by Tokyo Olympic Games
